Hang The DJ have secured another regular slot at The Sheffield Carling Academy as part of Gatecrashers new night starting in September.

This is the latest song to come out of our musical collaborative 'Glitter Junkies'. 'Hang The Mother Fucking DJ' is an electro twist on the infamous Smiths song 'Panic’, which was a huge part of the inspiration behind our night and whose lyrics have become some what of an anthem at our events. Hang The DJ played a sell out first event at The Carling Academy on May 30th. 1700 tickets were sold in advance and queues were up to two hours long! The Hang The DJ 'Burlesque Bash' featured a spectacular Burlesque show by the Grotesque Grrrlesque dancers and Alice Electrobaby and The Disco Dolls set to a back drop of live visuals from Hang The VJ. Hang The DJ events will soon be held not just in Sheffield but in London and Manchester too. Hang The DJ are currently finalising details with London based company The Breakfast Group, who own current celebrity hot spot ‘Punk’ and also have plans for a night at trendy Manchester hang out ‘The Deaf Institute’.
